Return Shipping Costs
Standard Returns (Right of Withdrawal): If a customer decides to return a product within the 14-day right of withdrawal period, they are generally responsible for paying the return shipping costs unless the seller has agreed otherwise.
Exceptions:
If the seller does not inform the buyer about the return shipping cost at the time of purchase, the seller is then required to cover the cost of return shipping.
If the product is faulty or not as described, the seller is responsible for the cost of return shipping. This is in line with the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act, which ensures that the consumer is not burdened by the cost of returning a defective or wrongly described item.
Right of Withdrawal and Return Shipping
Consumer’s Responsibility: If the consumer exercises their right to return a product within the 14-day period, they must return the product in its original condition. They also need to cover the return shipping cost unless the product is faulty.
Refunds: After the returned item is received, the seller must refund the consumer within 14 days of receiving the returned product or receiving proof of return (e.g., a return tracking number). The refund must cover the purchase price, excluding the cost of return shipping, unless the seller is responsible for the return shipping cost (as mentioned above).

Special Circumstances
