The flow of subtle energy within our body’s energy channels is what sustains life and vitality. This energy, also called Prana or Qi, must flow though the energy channels, nadis or meridians, undisturbed to be able to fuel the body’s functions and mind. A blockage appears as a disease, discomfort or just a sense of imbalance in the body.
Any imbalance in the body starts on a subtler level and then starts to affect the system as a whole. A blockage or stagnation in the energy channels hinders the energy from flowing smoothly, and we can feel stuck. A physical or mental blockage can manifest in pain, discomfort and recurring thoughts.
When we become more aware of our energetic body, we also feel if there is a flow through our body or if we have a blockage. When our energy body is imbalanced and stagnant, this can manifest physically in many ways, for example: fatigue, pain, insomnia, indigestion and an inability to think clearly and create goals and visions.

Use these questions and suggestions to work with your energy flow and create release of any stagnation or blockage:
- Am I moving my body and energy through exercise, movement, meditation and breathwork?
- Am I eating fresh and whole foods from the Earth, filled with prana?
- Is my living environment healthy and balanced?
- Am I spending enough time in nature?
- When did the blockage occur, and why?
- Am I holding on to something in the past?
- Can I release control and trust more?
