The second card of this year is the “The waters of creativity and sensuality flow within my Hara” and it focuses on the area below the navel, which is a powerful place with many names – sacral chakra, hara, lower dantien and mingmen – which all of these holds our prenatal essence and qi and is the source of fire that nourishes the body. This is also the place of reproductive organs and where physical and spiritual life come togheter. When balanced, we are connected to our creativity and sensuality. When it’s imbalanced, we lose that connection to our inner creative force. We also become disconnected from our emotions and others, and fears and anxiety can arise. So how does this space feel right now? Now is the time to connect with this sacred energetic space within you.
֎ Below are some Sacral Chakra practises you can try;
• Immerse yourself in water and make showers and bath ritualistic and ceremonial to invite healing.
• Eat orange fruits and vegetables.
• Meditate with the color orange.
• Keep your lower back and belly warm with a scarf and heat pillows.
• Belly dancing and moving your hips (also good for the Root Chakra).
• Massage your lower belly with natural oils.
• Chant the Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana Chakra) mantra: “Vam“.
